Re: Problems with the Three Headed Monster
Agreed, this thread is nowhere near as bad as others (petition, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?) but I would love to see a Coaching Thread Super Ultra Mega Merge.

Re: Problems with the Three Headed Monster
I can't tell if it is just JLC's reporting (I don't think so) but I actually think his last blog (reported here by RW) is pretty disheartening. I've tried to keep an open mind about the thing, and wasn't ready to jump off the Key Bridge (I guess Ravenel Bridge is closer for me) if they hired Fassel. That being said, the way Snyder has seemed to alienate Gregg Williams and the rest of the existing staff is really disappointing. For now at least, it also looks like the coordinators they wanted won't be coming in either and it just seems to be getting pretty ugly. If the Fassel/Ryan/Zorn thing could have happened quickly and without all the mess it certainly would have been better than the current situation. It just seems like the process here has really alienated a lot of people (and I'm not even talking about the fans) and been handled pretty poorly.
After the way they treated Williams (and Marty before) I just have a hard time understanding why any coach would want to come deal with the Snyder/Cerrato tandem. I guess if your other option is calling games for Westwood One it is pretty attractive, but besides that ... (and I don't mean to dump on Fassel either, just saying that you have to know that if your name isn't Joe Gibbs you are never going to really run the show).

Re: Problems with the Three Headed Monster
I would really like VC and DS to make a good hire and let that guy choose his own staff. Everyone knows who i think is a good hire...GW. I do not like our FO interviewing DC and OC's before we even have a coach. I really thought after Joe Gibbs that DS may have figured a couple things out, and maybe he has, it just doesn't look like it from an outsiders point of view. I thought he would make a good hire and let the coach do his thing...like Gibbs.
