How much work really gets done during the month of January for a team not in the playoffs? I dont think not having a coach for even a month translates to loses in September. Its not like its a QB holding out for money and not getting reps.

While not a lot of work gets done right now I think it's mainly a review of the prior season and the start of prep for free agency and the draft. But yeah they do typically get some time off.
