Former Skins in high demand!

EAGLES CHASING CLEMONS
A tipster advised us earlier today that the Eagles are chasing Raiders free-agent defensive end/linebacker Chris Clemons.
Several readers tell us that WIP's "Mini-Reid" is now reporting that Clemons will sign with the Eagles within the next 24 hours.
Since our tipster has proven himself, we'll also disclose that the tipster says cornerback Asante Samuel will be signed today and that the Eagles made a run at receiver Larry Fitzgerald but the Cardinals wanted too much, and that cornerback Sheldon Brown likely will be moved to safety.
Hey, maybe our tipster is Mini-Reid.

Yea somehow he got 8 sacks last year. He was always our pass-rush specialist, but only got like 2 sacks a year.

I guess the Raiders system worked for him. I'd like to see guys that were with the Skins last year get some big paydays because that could equal comp. picks for us if we don't spend too much.

You could see he was on his way to being a legit pass rusher, even in limited action. Chris Wilson has the potential to do a lot of the same things for us.

I liked Clemons a lot. He was a terror coming off the edge in 04. He didn't get a lot of sacks because often someone got there up the middle first. He only had 1 move, just like Wilson, but it sounds like he's improved.

It was unfortunate, but Chris got caught up in a numbers game. He got hurt and, as a situational pass rusher who was generally a liability against the run and in coverage, so he was cut. He's one I'd like to have back, but I understand why we cut him.
