Dolphins Sign WR Wilford

Cross another one off the list

Jaguars' Wilford, Giants' Torbor headed to Miami - 02/29/2008 - MiamiHerald.com

They got Randy Starks as well

Alright, more reason to take Devin Thomas in the draft.

Miami also signed former Jacksonville free-agent wide receiver Ernest Wilford to a four-year, $13 million contract that included a $6 million signing bonus and another $1 million escalator.
Wow, they stole this guy.

At this rate we're going to need a Miami Dolphins Free Agent Signing Thread. At this rate the Dolphins will have about 40 new players next year. I guess it's smart though, to overhaul the roster of a team that went 1-15.

I'm glad we didn't go for this guy. He has shown nothing since he's been in Jacksonville. Typical knee jerk reaction by a team that's low on talent and under the cap.

I never understood why some people were so hyped on this guy. Big, slow, not overly productive. Do we need another #3 WR? Am I missing something?

True Dat, he is all hype. Randle El is better than him.

Re: Dolphins Sign WR Wilford

So Wilford, Smiley, Charlie Wilson, Randy Starks, and Reggie Torbor. Thats a pretty big class.
