That was the plan, and yes. But apparently there is some feeling that making this the final season would be incomplete since episodes were missed due to the writers strike.

I almost started a thread about 30 Rock. That is far and away the [U]best/U] comedy on TV right now. Possibly the best since Seinfeld. I haven't watched season 2 yet, but hopefully they kept it up.

Season 2 is even better.

I watched the British version first, and I was disappointed by season 1 of the American version. However, the American version has just gotten better and better, and now I would say they are on par, but just a bit different.

Also, it's hard to compare the two, since the British season is (literally) 6 episodes long. I would put the best 6 episodes of any season of the American version against the British version.

I knew it was essentially just one season but I had no idea it was just 6 episodes
