From the Santana signing in Manassas

Hey, just wanted to share some pics that were taken today at the Santana Moss signing at the Verizon store in Manassas 4/19/08.

This was a rescheduled event from early Nov where he couldn't show due to injury. My girlfriend actually waited in line for 3 hours for that one only to be informed about his eventual absence. I got to go with her to this rescheduling which means I got all the payoff and none of the wait...good guys win.

He signed a football for her and a picture that I took of him kneeling at halftime of the Bears game that we went to.

By the way, my girlfriend and I also made it on the broadcast of that game that was shown on NFL Network. I've got it on Youtube, I'll put that one up too.

Here it is:

Satana signed picture. He is kneeling inside the endzone in the middle of this picture.

Yeah during my interaction he was nice. But we were one of the first ones to have him sign.

It's funny when people walk away from a sports star or celebrity and talk about how nice/mean they were. You can't really gauge their personality on that limited exposure. So by default I guess I'll say he's nice.

The mop top in the picture is me. It will be a year in July since I've mowed the fro.

I've had the chance to interact with Moss (pregame before Bucs 2005 regular season game), and he was a class act. Really Really Nice Guy.....

Also met ST at that interaction, and he was unbelivable to me and my friends......makes it that much sadder.

You are absolutely right, but you can always get a slight indication on them.

It's nice to know that he's not an ass though.

BTW- has anyone ever called you Dierks Bentley?

Who is Dierks Bentley?...I was bartending at a charity event yesterday and some lady said I looked like Josh Grobin, that was a first.

One of my friends lived in the same townhouse complex as ST in Ashburn. He said that for Halloween he just kept his door open and let all the kids in the neighborhood just come in and ask for their candy. He said since the door was open he just walked in and introduced himself as a neighbor. Well he says that ST was completely cool about it and they end up talking for 20 minutes or so while ST handed out candy to kids in that came by.

He said that they had a common friend between them so that is what extended the conversation but he said that he was a really great guy. BTW, my friend is an Eagles fan and called ST his favorite player after that visit.
