One key stat for Skins.....1-10 on 3rd down

This is another reason why we lost the game. If you can't convert on 3rd down then forget about it. Here's a breakdown on our 3rd down conversions vs. Packers.

3rd-6, GB34 11:30 M. Brunell incomplete pass down the middle

3rd-1, WAS39 3:04 M. Brunell passed to T. Jacobs to the left for 1 yard loss

3rd-24, GB48 9:49 M. Brunell sacked by C. Jenkins

3rd-10, GB24 3:24 M. Brunell sacked by K. Gbaja-Biamila (We then converted on a 4th down pass to Royal)

3rd-11, GB48 10:08 M. Brunell incomplete pass down the middle

3rd-5, WAS22 5:44 M. Brunell incomplete pass down the middle

3rd-10, GB17 12:00 M. Brunell incomplete pass to the left

3rd-10, WAS20 7:09 M. Brunell incomplete pass to the left

3rd-13, GB48 2:43 A. Harris intercepted M. Brunell for 29 yards

The other scary statistic is our passing average of 3.9 is lower than our rushing ave of 4.3. No deep passing threat and teams are stacking the line.

3rd downs are huge on both sides of the ball. Good teams convert on 3rd downs and stop their opponents on 3rd downs. Our D has done a great job unfortunately the same can't be said of the offense.

ANY offensive stat at this point is bad. the only one thats even respectable is Portis's YPC and total yards.

Bad decisions and bad passes. And a couple of sacks that were not Brunell's fault.
