This Could Happen!

Wouldn't this be something:

Q: What if both the electoral vote for president and vice president are tied at 269?

A: The House would choose the president and the Senate would choose the vice president. In the Senate each senator would have one vote. So it is possible that if there were a Democratic-controlled Senate, it would pick John Edwards as vice president, even if the House picked George Bush as president.

Even if you hate the Presidential candidates there are other important issues on the ballot that effect your region/area. Lot of people gave up their lives for our freedom and right to vote.............

Oh come on!

There is a candidate that is much better than the alternative, and it is not the one who tried to associate Al Queda with Iraq. Many other misconceptions and dishonesty have been prevalent throughout his term in office as well. And those were no small feat. I wonder why the rest of the world hates us and is begging us to change our leadership.

The better candidate is the one that is willing to stand up for freedom, even if it isn't the popular thing to do with other nations. The alternative is to have our decisions dictated by the rest of the world. No thanks.
I do agree that as always, it is the "lesser of two evils". I cannot stand politicians.

Great point, the war has consumed this election, but there are plenty of very important issues that will effect our everyday lives.

Voting is important.

....and there are a lot of our men and women dying in foreign countries so their people can have a right to vote. C'mon people, don't just throw away something that millions of people in other nations can only dream of having... the right to elect our political leaders.

Exactly!!! The only reason I'm going out to vote tommarow is because these people are doing somthing I'm not willing to do, for simple things like voting. I feel like voting is my way, a very small way of saying thank-you.

Personally I think both of these guys stink, but I'm gonna go vote because of the people fighting for it. I''m gonna vote the way I think is going to bring them home, too.

I'm sure you've all seen it, but there are a couple of really funny flash animations at www.jibjab.com that you should check out. To me it sums up the public view of this election season. Can't wait till this is all over and we can get away from being "Two Americas"
