I'm not saying it's all Gibbs. I think partially it is, but the over-throws kill. I'm still not convinced that this offense could work. Last year I saw glimmers of an amazing offense. I have yet to see that from this years offense.
A lot of the problems DO come from execution. But seriously, you can not expect all your plays to be run perfectly. Holes will close, blitz's will not get picked up. I also think we're on the verge of getting something going. I'm not going to blindly follow Gibbs like a lot of other members of this site. What he did in the past was great, and I respect him for it. But it's a new time, and a new year. I question some of his moves. He says a new QB doesnt mean a spark. It doesn't guarantee that. Let's see... Tom Brady comes in for Bledsoe.. Super Bowl. Rothelisburger for Maddox (superbowl?), B. Johnson got benched and that turned Tampa around. There are a million instances where it works. A million and one where it doesn't. At this point, isn't it worth a try?
