Blache Quote and other stuff...
Best line ever:
"Rookies are fine and dandy, and I'm glad to see them progressing. But I don't fall in love with rookies. You're better to fall in love with a stripper than a rookie, because they'll break your heart. They really will. We will give them some time and let them prove themselves if they are worthy of it" I don't know if this deserves to be a thread or not, but I thought it was just too funny. On a side note, I'm glad to see that Jason Taylor is going to play a few snaps during the next game. Go Skins!! Of Blache, the O line and Injuries - Redskins Insider

Re: Blache Quote and other stuff...
I have a feeling we're going to hear plenty of notable quotes from Blache this year. He's a real character.

Re: Blache Quote and other stuff...
Oh and Blache's opinion of the defense's performance at the HOF game..."stunk like three-day old fish."

Re: Blache Quote and other stuff...
Wouldn't it be crazy if all ten draft picks make the 53 man roster? I bet one of the safties and Rob Jackson will be put on the practice squad, but it looks like at least eight picks will make the active roster as long as Durant Brooks pans out.

Re: Blache Quote and other stuff...
Blache is awesome. Here's another great quote:
"Playing time is like a rope," Blache said. "Some guys use it to pull themselves up on the team, and some guys get tangled up in it and hang themselves. Those two guys [Horton and Richardson] used it to help pull themselves up. They're taking advantage of the snaps they're getting and if they continue to improve they've got a good chance of being a Redskin." Nice. Blache can coach--he's proved that in the league. But no doubt we are going to have to score some points this year (duh...). I don't think we'll see the lockdown D so much, but so long as they're tough and don't give up the easy ones, we'll be fine. And if Carter and Taylor can bring some havoc off the edge, we could be very good.

I'm glad Snyder was able to talk Blache out of retiring.

Re: Blache Quote and other stuff...
Good article.
Why didn't it give an update on Betts? Will he play Saturday or not?

Re: Blache Quote and other stuff...
I absolutely agree. Never buy into a rookie, until the rookie produces on the field, under fire. Excellent viewpoint on Blache which probably explains while Blache has had success in the past running defenses.
