earth, wind and fire
last night, i went to the musik fest in Bethlehem, Pa. and saw earth wind and fire. boy, for only having 3 of the original members left, they still sound great. i guess as long as Phillip Bailey still has that voice, they will live for ever. i was just wondering if there were any E,W & F fans out there? or if im just an old fart?

Yeah I'd say you're a bigtime fart.
I thought these guys were on the county fair circuit?

Re: earth, wind and fire
Boyz II Men was in my hood yesterday for an outdoor concert. I think all they play now is cover songs. I didn't go, but for what's essentially become a cover band in recent years it's amazing how many people went to see them (helps that it's free of course), but the streets were packed with cars and people. Roads were blocked, police were everywhere. Crazy
Anyhow, as for E,W,a nd F. Did they play "Let's Groove Tonight"? That may just be one of the best songs ever. Can't help but feel good when you hear it

I saw them 3 years ago when they where on a tour with Chicago and both bands could still rock.

Re: earth, wind and fire
they played all the old school stuff. and with lets groove tonight, they did some kind of extended mix. they had the joint jump-in
a funny story, there was a group of older brothers behind me. and once the lights went out, and they started jammin, those guys were blow-in one doobie after another. and all those guys were at least in their 50's

Re: earth, wind and fire
I think dmek25 and Charles Jefferson from Lincoln High are the only two Earth Wind and Fire fans left. Did you get your tickets from Damone?

Re: earth, wind and fire
I like E W & F and I'm only 21. Probably not enough to go to a concert though. But there are some old standbys that I like.

Re: earth, wind and fire
Earth, Wind, and Fire is probably the most underrated group of all time.
