People can wear whatever they want obviously, but that doesn't mean we can't make fun of them!

Buying one of those jerseys is like buying Adidas with four stripes from K-Mart.
You probably made fun of the kids in school because their parents couldn't afford the newest pair of Nike shoes. And I didn't know you had to buy a T-shirt AT the game to get a ticket. Dan Snyder loves you and your money.

Actually, I was a four stripe Adidas kid and Cons from K-mart.

I didn't say that you had to buy a T-shirt AT the game. I was just giving alternatives to buying Japanese jerseys. Boy, people are sensative this morning.

Re: I'm in Jersey heaven....

I agree, paying full retail for jerseys is unthinkable. But the thing is, if you are patient and spend some time doing a little leg work, you can find deals. You really shouldn't ever have to spend more than $30 for a replica and I have bought and sold numerous authentics in the $100 range ... and I am talking about the actual Reebok retail authentics not fakes or specialjersey.com numbers. Hell, Redskins.com had authentics for $75 on draft weekend. No reason why you should support counterfeiters, dubious labor practices, and funnel dollars to lord knows who. I mean, corporations can do some bad things, and sure DS has a lot of money (though, in fairness, he does seem to funnel a lot of that back into the team), but that is a lot better than sweatshops employing young children or having your dollars potentially end up in the hands of terrorist organizations.

Plus, you won't look ridiculous. So really everyone wins in the end. And while eBay has a whole of of pitfalls, here are a couple of auctions that look totally legit to me (man, there are not many, that is literally all I could find, though there are a few more in the stores section). (None are mine).

Sam Huff mitchell & ness jersey Redskins size 48 - eBay (item 160269613551 end time Aug-11-08 19:09:59 PDT)

AUTHENTIC WASHINGTON REDSKINS SHAWN SPRINGS JERSEY 56 - eBay (item 150281039793 end time Aug-13-08 16:39:53 PDT)

Yeah I pretty much buy replica's. I can't justify that much money on a real one. Plus I stopped buying jerseys. As soon as I pick up someone's they start sucking, get hurt, or are traded.

If you are an NFL palyer and see me buying your jersey it would be in your best interest to pay me not to buy your jersey. =)

I hear you. These are the last several jerseys that I have purchased for myself:

1) Champ Bailey
2) LaVar Arrington
3) Sean Taylor

and, this year, I'll be sporting this:

Good thing I have long since abandoned the notion that any of my actions have any effect on the team.

At least that looks like the real thing. Replicas are great if they look like the team that you're supporting. The ones that need the Redskins emblem on the shoulder just so you can identify what team's jersey it is supposed to be like, not so good.

Re: I'm in Jersey heaven....

Those player of the century jerseys are what kill me. You know the ones that have like 4 or 5 different players numbers on them. Just awful.

Here's one

I agree I've never understood why someone would want a jersey like that. There awful!

Re: I'm in Jersey heaven....

My friends, friends mother gave him a Laveranues Coles Jersey for his past birthday so you can find deals. It was funny when he held it up and that lady just seemed so joyful with her gift to him that nobody said a thing. She shows up to a few Skins party and everyone keeps asking my buddy "why don't you have on your Coles jersey". Finally this lady asked why wasn't Coles playing and someone said he was no longer on the team. She said she didn't read about it in the news paper and when did we let him go. Someone yeld out about 4 years ago and we all started laughing. She did not even believe us and she had to go to a computer to look into this and then was mad because she paid $65.00 for his Jersey.

Re: I'm in Jersey heaven....

I don't know if this question has been asked. If so, my bad. Does anyone know where I can get a black Sean Taylor jersey?
