I'm most impressed with Mason again. This kid may force the team to trade one of our backs. Portis knows how to block, Ladell runs down hill, Rock is a lock on special teams.

I'm not a big Portis fan but he does protect the quaterback and unfortunately I don't think this is a strength of Ladell's. I think Mason is our best pure runner but there are the other intangibles that make him a liability at this point.

I would like to see Mason run with the first team offense against a first string defense and then let's see how he looks.
