Dolphins. Headcoaching change?

A friend of mine is a big Dolphins fan. He's constantly reading boards like the warpath, only for the fins. He said that people have said Spurrier is a done deal for the fins. If that's true, I found my new #2 team!

A done deal meaning what? That they have preliminary contract terms or that he is their #1 choice when they fire porn mustache Wannstedt?

if you were a real redskins fan, your #2 team would be the team playing the cowboys.

I was listening to Dc101 on friday. Elliott in the morning has Boomer Esiason each Fri to talk about the NFL. Elliott told Boomer that Spurrier was gonna get hired at Miami. Boomer thought he was crazy and never even heard the the topic before. Boomer thinks that there is no shot, so he told Elliott if Miami hires Spurrier he will take him to the Pro Bowl. Just thought that was kinda funny.

I've heard some stuff similar to that too, and on gameday yesterday they were saying that spurrier told lee corso that he had something cooking which he would announce in the next few weeks. I'm still hoping that he comes and takes Paterno's job here at Penn State, although I know that's impossible given our dearth of golf courses in the area. I think its likely that a newly humbled and driven spurrier wants to give it one last shot in the nf. if so, i'll definately be rooting for him to succeed.

Who knows, maybe we can have a rematch of the 72 superbowl in a few years (with the results different this time of course).

And if Spurrier gets the job............... what will he do with Ricky Willaims.....take him back with open arms...... or trade him for draft picks.......heaven knows the Dolphins need help, especially at the QB position.

The bar I usually go to has lots of fins fans but for the past 3 weeks there has been only one fins fan showing up and guess what? She is a cute woman in her early thirties. Now that's sexy!

Everyone has a #2 team. Mine is the Packers. How ironic.
