Re: Eagles & Cowboys how good are they?
I heard today in the radio how both Dallas and Philly fielded secondaries that have first round draft choices (i.e. Pacman Jones, Lito Sheppard) and/or high money free agents acquisition (i.e. Asante Samuel). I think it was interesting how both QB lit up the other team's secondary. Hopefully our team saw something in this game and find a way to exploit these secondaries. Also, I hope our secondary passes a big test they are going to have this Sunday against the Cards.

Re: Eagles & Cowboys how good are they?
it was a shootout for sure and the skins can,t afford a shootout in my opinion.
both the eagles and the boyz have some firepower but i,d say the boyz have more and that presents us with potential problems but in this division anything goes....cause i think the nfc east is getting back to it,s roots again.. but the monday night game was great but the popcorn i had wasn,t too good, lol should be an interesting year in this division thats for sure.wait and see.

Good points, but we don't know what the lease says. Maybe Danny has some wiggle room to move. |

Re: Eagles & Cowboys how good are they?
I don't think we will know how good they are until they play someone we have played or when they play us. We held the Giants to only 16 points. Then the Giants score some 40 points on the Rams. What I'm getting at is I'm betting our D-fense is better then we think and our offense is getting better on their learning curve. If our D can hold Dallas or the Eagles to low scores then we have a chance to compete. Although it was a shoot out between both the Eagles and Dallas their D-fense did not impress me with their stopping abilities. I only hope our D can find a way to stop them or slow them considerably to allow us to score more then them.

Re: Eagles & Cowboys how good are they?
Both teams are as only good as their last game... They like all teams will have their ups and downs... just look at how Dallas fell apart two years straight in the playoffs.
The NFC East is the most difficult, toughest, division there is...The Skins will do battle in the division and will take a share of victories too this season....No worries. |

Re: Eagles & Cowboys how good are they?
You guys are pipe-dreaming if you think that the Redskins will have a new stadium before the lease expires with the city.
Because you know who will foot the bill if Snyder leaves FedEx early for a new stadium wiggle room or not? The taxpayers, that's who. The taxes will be raised to pay for a stadium that no one will be using. Then if you think game tickets are expensive now, just wait until Snyder moves early to this "new" stadium you speak of and has to pay MILLIONS in penalties. You think Snyder is going to pay that? Nope, it will be you, the die hard Redskin fan when Snyder jacks up the ticket prices to not only pay for the new stadium you are dreaming about, but also jacks the prices up more to pay for the fines and penalties he will inherit for breaking the lease with the city. Where does it come from? Not that mall or airport you speak of, those monies will be used towards operating costs of the airport and mall. If Snyder pulls out of FedEx early for a new stadium, who pays for FedEx? That debt does not go away, someone (probably the fans, and definitely the taxpayers) will be paying that bill. |

Hows is the market for professional football stadiums in the Maryland area? Is there such a demand for these venues that investors are building and selling them at will? Who is he going to sell it to? The Ravens? A local high school? You? |

I wouldn't put it past Snyder to get it done, but there is much to overcome realistically. |
