We'll beat both of them - through the air. Eagles D is horrible. Steelers pass D is inflated right now. Their safeties can't cover and their CBs are mediocre.

yeah i think with ramsey gettin' some reps in practice and having the job secured as opposed to coming in to try and be the hero, we might hang with these teams. philly's d isn't as good as it's been. i think that by maybe being able to get some yards through the air with ramsey, despite the potential fer a pick or 2, it will open up CP's game. our D will keep us in it as always. could be like are standard "WTF?" game like when we beat new england last year...
i think we'll take one of 'em. |

it'd be really nice to end roth's win streak, even if it is a long shot

Just be aware, Ramsey is going to look pretty bad against these teams. Both love to blitz and we've all seen how Ramsey performs behind an O-line that pass protects on an inconsistent basis.
If we are in either game, it will be because our D didn't let them get out in front of us 14-0 in the first half and we were able to jam Portis down their throats. |

Agreed RF but I think that is what will start happening now, team's will have to respect our passing game much more now than under Brunell, which will open up the run game for Portis which in turn should help with the passing game and the protection, it's the old ankle bone is connected to the footbone theory and I believe that's what's been missing with this offense, so what if a team know's what's coming? Some of the greatest team's in history were very predictable everyone new what was coming they just couldn't stop them, and that will start happening for us team's might know we are going to run or pass the ball but they have to protect against both which allow's us more room to operate our offense, up until now nobody worried about the passing game, that will start changing, but the key is for Ramsey to burn a few team's and prove if they go lite in the secondary he will take advantage of it, the sooner he proves that he can do that the better off he will protection wise. |
