Re: Irrefutable proof of the media bias against the Skins

Next time open it up and don't just read the caption. It starts off talking of the three because they have played their week 9 game and then they talk about Zorn. Here's the rest of the story.
Four first-time coaches took over teams in 2008, most of them no-names in a world of high-glamour coaches.

Tony Sparano has emerged as a Coach of the Year candidate along with his three other rookie collegues. (AP)
Mike Smith? John Harbaugh? Tony Sparano? Jim Zorn?

At least Zorn played. What about the others?

Harbaugh was that NFL quarterback's brother. Sparano? Loved him in that HBO show.

Smith? Who?

Now look.

On Sunday, three of the four won, and Zorn's Redskins play on Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

All four now have teams that are playoff threats.

Go figure.

Most, including me, figured the Dolphins and Falcons would combine to win six games. Now the Falcons, coached by Smith, are 5-3 thanks to their 24-0 shutout of the Oakland Raiders.

The Ravens, who beat the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, are 5-3 under Harbaugh. What's even more impressive is both the Falcons and Ravens are doing it with rookie quarterbacks.

The Dolphins, coached by Sparano, went to Denver and pulled off an upset, winning 26-17 to get to 4-4.

If the Redskins beat the Steelers, the four first-time coaches will have a combined record of 20-12. Even if they don't, it's still impressive.

The three teams that played Sunday and their first-year coaches get A's in our grades this week. All won on the road and all did it in impressive style.

Who are these men?
