I appreciate your willingness to go against the flow of popular opinion ... but I think you're wrong. What may seem dumb to someone who isn't anywhere the nerve center of Redskins Park doesn't seem that dumb to someone who's in the middle building a team, someone using a tried-and-true blueprint for success. This move addresses special teams -- Gibbs' baby -- more than anything else. There will be more trades to come, rest assured.

So far this offseason we've added Portis, Brunnell, Griffin, etc., all of whom fill a critical role in Gibbs' system. I'd say he knows what he's doing.
