I am very excited as this is my alma mater. Please God gives a bowl, lol! He's inheriting probably the worst program in Div I in the last 50 years. It tough to be a NMSU football fan as we are mostly a B ball town.

I could only find one thread about Walker, anyone got some tidbits on him as a coach? Here and at UCLA?

I would say he biggest obstacles is changing the "losing culture" the Aggies have been known for in the football program.

Congrats DW! I wish he wasn't leaving my favorite NCAA program, but he deserves his shot. I wish him the best of luck running his own team.
