Re: 2009 Free Agents
Jacobs would probably make a good tackle or guard.......
Neither would be worth a damn if we don't address our NEEDS up front!

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Darren Sproles will show how much he's worth today.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Thank you. Now after this game there's no way he is going to become a FA, they'll sign him specially with Tomlinson getting nicked up on a regular basis.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Can I get some lottery numbers from you? Wow, you were really dead on. I wish he didn't because I was hoping we'd have a good shot at him this offseason. Now, I doubt it will happen but he is exactly what our offense and special teams lack, a truly explosive player who can score anytime he touches the ball.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
Jacobs is a great back. I never said we should go after him as I am well aware of our O line situation. Just said I'd like to have him in the back with Portis. Thanks

Re: 2009 Free Agents
I'm sure Suggs will be franchised by Baltimore, although he would be a great replacement for Marcus Washington.
I'm afraid Haynesworth will be like a Dana Stubblefield and fall off once he signs a fat contract. We need to build the O-line and D-line through the draft, although I'd love to see us make a run at Jordan Gross- he's an absolute beast. Sproles would be a great change of pace back along with CP, as well as a bonafide return threat (something we haven't had in awhile). If we could get rid of aging vets on the O-line like Kendall and Jansen, add one through FA like Gross and another through the draft (Oher, Monroe, Ciron Black) and then throw in a change of pace back such as Sproles, I think our offense could be substantially improved in '09. |

Re: 2009 Free Agents
My compliments to the OP; your post contains a wealth of info that, while readily available to any who care to look, nonetheless must have taken a good chunk of time to put together.
Thank you brother.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
We should go after a LB in free agency and draft to soilidify our O-Line.
