The point was Vinny has not made good decisions. Are you saying he does? Perhaps Vinny hasn't made one decision and none of the bad aquisitions are his fault.
We're talking about Roy E. Williams here?

The guy Troy Aikman said was having little contribution to the Dallas offense acquired from the Lions. Roy E. Williams?

Yeah, definitely not the same thing trading multiple picks for Williams as drafting Kelly in the 2nd round.

And no, I don't think VC is perfect and hasn't made any decisions. I just don't get why when people want to knock him they seem to invent things.

If you must know, let's look solely at the 2008 draft where he had final say unlike in previous years. Of course, I'll preface by saying it's ridiculous to judge that draft this early. But...I didn't agree with taking Davis and Kelly when one would have sufficed, I was never impressed with Tryon and I think we could have and should have done a better job of finding a DB a position that was pretty deep last year, I think we should have taken one linebacker in place of one of the safeties we took, I don't know why we drafted Rob Jackson when he seems like a Chris Wilson clone.

I know I haven't invented anything. Maybe some others. I do agree with your post however.

He is the one who is responsible for the players like Pacman etc. and the coaching staff, and as long as he CONTROLS the team, this is what you have to look forward to. The 2 best coaches you've had were basically run out of town by your egomanical owner who wants all the credit for their success. ALL owners want to win, but the ones who do are smart enough to know that their particular area of expertise does not include coaching or even evaluating talent for a professional football team. It has taken our owner a lot longer than we would like to start learning this lesson, but I have seen absolutely no progress from Jerry Jones in this regard whatsoever. Have you noticed that after a coach brings some success to your team they have some sort of disagreement with Jones and leave? Jones is the problem and that does not bode well for you my friend, but here in Redskin land...WE LOVE IT!
And you better believe that in TX they love the fact that Dan Snyder is our owner. People in glass houses ...
