Thats the nature of the "wild"card. It has nothing to do with luck. They were not in full control of their destiny but, they still had to win to get in. If they were lucky they would not be in the Championship game. I suppose Cards were lucky also. Maybe most of the teams are lucky NE didnt get in. That's just NFL

I don't know about "wild" but definatly belong in the playoffs. Your argument of a lucky team can also be argued as a what if. Like what if the Redskins didn't sweep the eagles. It can be argued that the Skins where lucky to beat them the 2nd time. If the Eagles had beaten them or not tied the Bengals Then the Eagles would not have needed "luck" to get in. Not only that but they finished the season 11-6-1 only 4 teams in the NFC have a better record. Just saying...
