Let's look in the mirror here. We all love CP, but he's an "old" 26 (i think 26 years old). The question has got to be raised.

Look at the eagles. They go to the extreme. If you're older than 30 they generally don't need you. You're done, cut, traded.

I wouldn't go that far but i do believe this is a young man's game now. Vet's are good but too many of them and you've got a problem.

Portis is 27 but who's counting

even with LTs injuries and and age he would be extreamly tempting for some teams. Not a good fit here IMO.

I would love to have Ward from the Giants to compliment Portis. That's another thread.

The thought of LT being cut or traded still seems crazy and a little sad. But I still have to see it to believe it.
