While true about lack of a pass rush, I did not like that Smoot (specifically) said that about our DL. He said, "That's where games are won at. It's rarely won at the back end, it's always won in the trenches. WTF? Does he own a mirror? Smoot's poor level of play does not give him the right to point fingers at other under performing team mates .
The only reason he is not getting cut this year as opposed next year, he will definitly get cut next year, is it is too cap probative to cut him this year. He and Jansen are in the same boat. Smoot is the weak link and a liability in the secondary. Smoot needs to keep his mouth shut.
