Has there ever been a more meaningless statement?

Cartwright excels at his role on the team.

I'm sorry I just don't get this statement. What does he excel at? All he is, is a kick returner for kick offs only. I don't recall hearing his name on any of the tackles when we kicked off to the other team. I kept hearing Thrash, Horton, and Thomas making most of the tackles.

Considering Rocks a beast on special teams

Yes he's a beast if you consistantly want to get to the 20 to 30 yard range. It's not like he's a threat to break one to the end zone. I think he has done one in like 2-3 years or more. I think we are looking at all our RB's and how they are getting older and slowing down, even Portis. We would most likely keep Portis cause he is a beast and for his size can pound the ball between the takles. Don't get me wrong I like what Rock has done for us but I can't see keeping one guy solely for the purpose of being a KR. If Dorsey comes in and can show he's worth something and not only be a KR but a PR also then I would be looking to cut Rock and maybe even Betts in order to keep Portis as our solid RB and Dorsey as our smaller younger scat back/KR/PR.
