After cutting six players on Monday, the Denver Broncos dumped a seventh guy on Tuesday.
Gone is cornerback Dre’ Bly, according to the team’s official web site.
Bly arrived via trade two years ago. He was due to earn a base salary of $3.25 million in 2009.
The move makes him an unrestricted free agent.
He spent his first four years with the Rams, then four with the Lions.

Wow. I'm a bit surprised at that one. When he and Champ are healthy they are pretty elite tandem, although both are on the wrong side of 30.
