King predicts Haynesworth to Redskins

Still, it's a bit presumptious (sp?) to think just because Snyder and Speck are having dinner they must be talking about Haynesworth. Maybe they were just having dinner. Maybe they were talking about another one of Speck's clients, Malcolm Kelly.

It's not pure conjecture...i would give it about a 99% chance AH's name came up at some point.

Bingo. My first thought when i read this was wondering who else Speck represented. I'm sure Haynesworth was brought up during the conversation (how could he not be?), but theres no way we can put ourselves in a position (financially) to pay Haynesworth.

As to Peppers, I'm pretty sure the Pathers franchised him, and we dont have the ammunition to trade for him. in addition to not being able to afford his salary, by all apperances we are keeping Jason Taylor so i'm not sure how Peppers would fit in with our plans. Really, both Peppers and Taylor are really 3-4 OLBs so i dont understand why we would want both of them.

No. you posted a link to a thread about Peppers (that evidently also mentioned haynesworth), so i was just throwing my two cents out there on him. sorry for the confusion.
