WHen Charles Rogers went out for weeks last year he remained the teams leading receiver without playing... Id be nice to pick up the 6th pick in the draft... Of course if I was Detroit id just draft Roy Williams, but im not Detroit so I think they should give us their pick
Gardner's does not know how to use his body to his advantage, so he negate's his size by his lack instincts at the position, as well you can't trust to throw the ball to him in a big spot, he has way to many easy drop's.

Gardner got a nice arm though, and he can catch a screen pass. Mabye try a reverse from Coles to Gardner then let him throw a TD to Portis...

Your right Offiss, Gardner can't use his body well, a tad bit soft maybe, like his hands SHOULD be (might be trade bound soon??)... Why Thrash and Swayne are here i don't know, has to be either one or the other.. I think Russell will definitely be outta here once Gibbs sees how well he can drop balls...Why not give Cloman a shot...he surely knows how to flex his muscles to make up for his lack of hardcore speed..He's pretty tough and can catch anything thrown his way!

I don't see what the big hoopla about Taylor Jacobs playing well in a couple of shorts and helmets minicamp practices is all about? Until he shows it in a couple regular season games, w/out getting injured, he is still an injury prone rookie. Just like Ladell Betts. We cannot count on him just yet.
The knock on him coming out of college was he is not very physical. Last year proved this to be true.
Gardner on the other hand, proved in his rookie year, he is a legit NFL talent. Everyone knew Spurriers chuck and duck college bullshit offense was not ideal for a big receiver like Gardner. Why are we suprised he did not do well under Spurrier? Who on offense under Sprurrier performed well week to week. Nobody! Coles came out hot, but cooled as the season wore on.
Give Gardner, T. Jacobs and Ladell Betts a chance to prove who should stay, before we ship anyone out prematurely.

I agree with giving Gardner and Jacobs a chance. As far as Betts im sure he can play the back up role just fine, hes not going to start thats for sure. If the rumor about the Raiders wanting Winslow has any truth behind it then this is going to be a draft for the history books. Taylor would be an easy decision then but the rest of the board would have so many trades.

Thrash is a solid guy, I actually wanted the Skins to try and keep him when he was a free agent oh so few years ago. He's not stellar, but he was solid in Norv's offense and while he's definitely not a #1 guy he will ROCK as the #2 or 3 receiver.

I know we all like to THINK we're stocked at wideout, but outside of Coles not many people showed jack last season. I don't think this is the end for Gardner, he's shown flashes and if we carry five or six quality wideouts that just makes our team better. Coles, Gardner, Jacobs, Thrash, McCants, that's maybe the best collection of wideouts in the league.

I wonder if Gibbs is considering using one of those guys as a H-back. I wont if Cloman could play that role since hes so big and not as fast. Anyone else thing Gibbs might consider doing that?

No, you really have to be able to pancake people blocking wise as an H-back you have to be a big guy, usually a TE type is what gibb's is looking for, cloman doesn't have near the size to do that, I do for some reason get the feeling that cloman is well liked amoung the coaches though, just a hunch.

I dont know to much about him. I jus want to be nieve and be a huge Skins and Canes fan and hope that Synder does one of his groundbreaking things and gets Taylor and Winslow. If I rooted for any other team id never even have dreams liek that, but being a Skins fan allows you to have a bigger imagination. We never know what Synder will do, other than he will pay a lot for it.
