Re: 2009 Free Agents
The possible JT move to NE would come of no surprise.
COULD JASON TAYLOR WIND UP IN NEW ENGLAND? Posted by Aaron Wilson on March 11, 2009, 4:05 p.m. After creating a void at outside linebacker when they traded Mike Vrabel to the Kansas City Chiefs, the New England Patriots are regarded as a potential destination for veteran free agent defensive end Jason Taylor, according to Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe. A six-time Pro Bowl selection who leads all current NFL players with 120 1/2 sacks, Taylor, 34, was cut earlier this month by the Washington Redskins. According to the Globe, Taylor, 34, would fit the Patriots’ need for a proven pass rusher. The point is seconded by Dave Hyde of the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel. Plus, as the article notes, Taylor and Tom Brady are good friends.
