The Raiders totally piss away draft picks like no other team in history. They overvalue players for gimmicky reasons, then give up on them really early in their careers. I don't see how a team that spins its wheels in place professionally could surprise anyone. Every year, there are tons of opportunities to improve, and every year, they throw millions of dollars at simply bad players. I'm not disagreeing with you that the Raiders have some good young talent. You've just taken a sentimental truth about every team in the NFL (i.e. has young, promising talent) and picked the one team that is most likely to blame it's young talent for it's continued failures as a potential breakout candidate. The Raiders model for success is to accidentally win, then find out what went right.

Re: 2009 Redskins Opponents
Why would you waste time trying to predict wins this time of year? While you’re at it why not try and predict the 2010 draft order and when players will get picked too?

Re: 2009 Redskins Opponents
I must say I'm looking forward to going to the Chargers and Raiders games. It's not that often that I can see the Redskins play twice in CA during the same season.
I have a question, why do we play the Rams so much?

Re: 2009 Redskins Opponents
Yup, just like when you guys thought you were going to beat the Iggles in the postseason or we thought we were going to beat the Rams, Cincy, and SF.

Re: 2009 Redskins Opponents
Correct...and that's a good thing! That is what keeps it exciting. Guaranteed wins would get boring quickly.
That's a bad thing. It means we keep finishing in the same place in our division as the sorry Lambs finish in theirs.

Re: 2009 Redskins Opponents
I'm not a newbie and I wasn't talking about you specifically, I was reiterating the point that you brought up that there are no guaranteed wins in the NFL. I'm sure a lot of NYG fans thought they could beat the Eagles, since the Giants had such a good season. Also, a lot of fans here, including yours truly, thought that games against St. Louis, Cincy, and SanFran.

Re: 2009 Redskins Opponents
Very true...your Giants proved that in the Superbowl against the Pats.
