Has Zorn already hand picked the QB for his offense?

The whole comparison with JC and Frerotte is that they will/were given time to mature and show some progression into a potential franchise QB. Frerotte didn't get over the hump per say, so he was released. I just don't see JC getting over the hump in proving he is a bona fide franchise QB this season with the "crap" he has to work with. Frerotte didn't have much to work with either. That to me is the similarity also. My whole thing is why should everyone think JC should be resigned, when if '09 sucks again he hasn't proven himself capable of getting over the hump like Frerotte and other QB's.
