Re: Second Round OT Talent

Potential trade partners by the draft value chart numbers (the likelihood of some of these seems remote)
Actually I think a lot of these could potentially happen.

Philadelphia (picks 21 and 53 - 1170; pick 13 - 1150)
Philly's got another first rounder to play with even if they trade one; they are hungry for an OT, and if andre smith is still there at 13, I can definitely see them moving up to grab him.

Minnesota (picks 22 and 54 - 1140; pick 13 - 1150)
This one's more unlikely; probably won't happen unless sanchez drops to 13

New England (picks 23 and 47 - 1190; pick 13 and 5th - approx. 1185.5) or (picks 23, 58, and 4th - approx. 1134; pick 13 - 1150)
NE is going after a linebacker in the first round, if Maualuga or 's still available at 13, which is likely, I can easily see them trading up. They have a ton of picks to play with so this one's a real possibility. If they're looking for OLB first and ILB second, this might not happen because there are a number of good OLBs in the first round (Everette Brown, Brian Cushing, Tyson Jackson). I think they'd prefer to take Maualuga here though.

Atlanta (picks 24, 55, and 4th - approx. 1142; pick 13 - 1150)
Atlanta would also be looking to take a higher level DE/OLB, so if there's one they particularly like when it comes to pick 13, this might happen. Less likely though...

Miami (picks 26 and 44 - 1160; pick 13 - 1150 ... plus kick to Cerrato's groin for having to drop 13 spots to get back pick 44)
haha yeah seriously... this also looks less likely; if they trade up it would probably also be to get a LB

Detroit (picks 20, 65, and 5th; pick 13)
Only scenario I can see is if they go OT with the first pick and want Sanchez

NY Jets (picks 17 and 52; picks 13 and 80)
If Sanchez is still available, that's all I can see...

So I guess hope that Sanchez drops to 13? I think most likely we'd trade with NE to give them a LB they like. I'd also say Philly, but I don't really think andre smith will fall to us. If he does then I'd say that's the trade most likely to happen.

Wow, I sort of hijacked my own thread. Back to the 2nd rd OTs....
