In some aspects I like Jeff Loria (owner of Florida Marlins). It delights me that one of the lowest payrolls in MLB makes it farther than NYY or BoSox.
He runs the team like a business that is focused on 2-3 years down the road, always. You never hear them signing expensive guys, they develop great home grown talent.

Whadya think?
