This is how it has always been, and it has nto changed. The strong side lbs usually have to be bigger because they are taking on more blocks in the run game. The weak-side lb can be smaller because they are needed to use their quickness and agility to operate in space. When a weakside LB switches to the strong side they tend to have lesser productive seasons (ex. Cato June in Tampa).
