yeah heard about this on the radio. I went back to hear some of his NFL films voiceovers. I am pretty sure you all have heard him before.

Very sad and unexpected.
He's always been my favorite broadcaster. I was a big Mike Schmidt fan back in the day, so I grew up watching a lot of Phillies games here in PA. His Home Run calls are unforgettable. Most here should know him from NFL Films even if they're not in the Phillies' broadcast area, so he'll be missed by many nationwide.
