Oher isn't dumb. He had a severely stunted learning curve because he was abandoned as a child and left to basically fend for himself, but he flourished once some good people started looking after him.

He isn't a genius by any means and has a lifetime of catching up to do, but he isn't "dumb."

Oher has trouble with focusing his intensity and isn't very instinctual yet, but many believe he is still growing as a player and since he works really hard his ceiling could be pretty high.

Thanks for the clarification. I still prefer to trade down for an additional first day pick...
