I think Norvs just glad to have been offered a head coaching job again. Its not often Coachs return to being an assistant and years later get a head job again.

OK, it may be a bit wild but what if the following happens:
Trotter and Gardner (they need a young WR) to the Raiders with say our 5th rounder and/or a pick from next year, if that isn't enough #2 pick (Raiders #1) to us The #2 pick to Detroit (who would probably pick up Fitzgerald instead of Winslow) to swap with their #6 pick plus their 2nd or 3rd rounder (again I'm unsure of the value Detroit would attach to the #2 pick) We get Winslow and Taylor and possibly swap a 5th rounder for a 2nd or 3rd. OK guys flame away! |

Best of luck to Norv, just wait until he is canned for no good reason. Well, Davis might actually have a good reason if Norv has the amount of success, or I should say lack thereof, that he had here.

I absolutely Loved the Norv Hire!
I absolutely loved the Norv Hire in Oakland!
I've said it before, I love kidding my son-in-law the Raiderz fan! He with the Grey and Black house, the room dedicated to his Raiderz and Yankees, and the Raiderz Flag out front! He hates Norv, so now he is indeed conflicted! You gotta love it!

We'd have better luck just dealing with Detroit. They dont need Fitzgerald, they need a solid number two guy (gardner) and a bunch of other help. I cant see Oakland doing that, but mabye detroit would atleast think about it before saying no

With Charles Rogers and Tai Streets (and I guess Az-Hakim as well), plus Michael Ricks at tight end and Harrington at QB what the Lions could really use is a running back which they could certainly find in the late 1st round

That trade would work for the Lions but everythign ive read has said the Patriots would never trade into the top ten becuase they dont need that one big player and liek the lions really just want a running back. The lions may want to do that trade but I cant see the Patriots doign it.

I agree.
Also, since the Pats have made it clear they are going to get a RB, they too will be able to get one at the end of the first round. I have seen more mock drafts lately that have them standing "Pat" and still getting kevin jones. |
