Reggie White dead at 41

Sorry to here this morning that Reggie White has passed on, he died of a massive heart attack, possibly the greatest lineman to ever play the game, he will be missed.

Prayers go out to the White family. He was a great competitor and from what all have said a great man.. Cause of death is speculated to be respitory failure from sleep apnea..

From what I hear, this(respitory problems and sleep problems) is a common probablem with big men, such as NFL linemen. Sad to hear.

My prayers go out to Reggie's wife and children. He was a great football player and good in the community too. A man of strong faith!....a pity he died so young........

Check this out

It's a real shame about White. For some reason, I always thought of him as the face of the new free agent era when he went to Green Bay, a team that really wasn't all that good when he joined them but he helped guide them back to glory.

And I don't know about the rest of you, but I thought Bruce Smith's quest for the sack record these past couple of years made Reggie White look so much better the way BS approached the record

I totally agree on Smith.

Smith might have the record but to me White was the better player.

I guess Smith really needed that record to validate his career since he didn't get a ring. Too bad he looked so pathetic in the way he hung around way past his prime.
