Well maybe you and I think it needs to go away or that it's a bad idea, but who else feels that way? I mean, serious question. Look, race and race relations is a complicated thing. We tend to learn incident by incident. Just because this thing started out messy, which it did, doesn't mean that now Gates and Crowley can't act like grown ups going forward. Some people just might be watching to see if that's even possible. I think those who look for the negative will find it. (not talking about you, by the way) And those that are hoping for a positive outcome, will look for it.
Personally, I could care less if they went to a baseball game or Hooters. I think it's "cool" that they've moved on.
