I think that it's being twisted around a little to say that Thomas didn't establish himself like the others this preseason. Thomas and Kelly had almost identical production (7 catches, 69 yards for Kelly to 7 catches, 67 yards for Thomas) and Mitchell just came out of seemingly nowhere to be everywhere but Thomas caught virtually everything thrown his way, showed confidence and explosiveness as a KR and we didn't hear anything "bad" about him.

Kelly was a more polished and productive WR coming out of college so he should be ahead of Thomas on the field. They both are going to be much improved and will make our passing game more potent.
