I was out all day so I havent had a chacne to respond to many of these and ive been mentioned in a few of them. Whoever it was that mentioned Winslow always asking for the ball isnt accurate. For the begining of the season he spent more time blocking becuause so many people would focus on him. He does have the same attitute as Portis though, if the games on the line he wants the ball, which isnt really an attitute. He always proved to make the plays.
I dont know a whoel lot about little, sorry.

Umm, what else. Oh, Taylor isnt so much of a big hitter. What he does though is never let anyone get by him and always makes the tackle. Hes definitly has an eagle eye for the ball though, if the ball is aired out he'll be there making a play on it.
I beleive he clocked in at 4.5 in the forth with a tweaked hamstring. Even if he say was only 4.45 at best, which I dotn really know, he still has excellent closing speed.

I think maybe the question to be asked is, taylor at #5 then send gardner trotter and our #1 next year for 2 2nd rd pick's, then draft watson or peter's, as well as either stark's [if avail] or another big D-lineman, I just feel that the way Gibb's uses his TE's and H-back's he would make a star out of either one of them, and we would get a D-lineman, if we reverse that and draft winslow, then go after a saftey who would we pick that could remotly come close to taylor? yes we could still get a D-lineman, but we wouldn't come close to a saftey with the dynamics of a taylor, on the other hand we could draft a TE who would be a better blocker than winslow, faster than winslow, and better charactor than winslow, in watson, watson to me sound's like the kind of player all the way around that Gibb's would really like, and I think gibb's would make a star out of him, I just put this out here because the odd's of us obtaining both taylor and winslow I think we all know are a long shot.
Drkstar you said you have followed watson a bit? can you shed some light on his production and football instink's on the field, have you seen enough of him to gauge whether or not you think he will make a good pro? as well as fit into Gibb's system? Last edited by offiss; 04-04-2004 at 06:13 PM. |
