Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
Shots down field? Did you watch the game JC didn't even have enough time to throw the slants and you think we can throw the ball down field. This game was lost by the O line.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
Lets face it JC shines just enough to make some people think he is a good/great QB. I'd say just a notch below average at best. Some people here blame the WR's coach for their poor play but its reallly tough to tell when CJ is our starter.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
I'm not only blaiming the WR coach, but name me a QB that gets 10-15 seconds to throw the ball? So yes JC is part of the issue. I agree he's a good QB just not a great QB. and yes I agree with you that people will take some time and look at his "Stats" and find some reason to defend him. Even though his throws were most likely dump offs within 5-10 yrds which will pad his stats making him look great. but this is the WCO which is all about short passes and dump offs. So go figure.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
As the O-line was awful. The one deep shot to DT was a catch able ball that has to be caught. The execution on the team from one end to the other is unbelievably poor.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
Although it should have been caught it's kinda hard when the defender is grabbing your ankles basically tackling you. The refs blew that call. It was interference. Even the announcers on the radio said it was interference.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
I saw the play and it looked like a fine play by the corner. He was beat and if the ball was thrwn a little better it could have been a TD or long gain. Once again JC throws another long ball just off the mark. Wish I had $100 for everytime that happens but of course this loss is not his fault but everyone else on the O.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread
I'll have to say I really did not watch it that close so I really cannot say much past it was over thrown. It was also a fine example of them setting up that play then failing to convert.
