Re: Gannon compares Redskins to Raiders
If we had compromising photos of Vinny with barnyard animals, that might hasten his departure.

Re: Gannon compares Redskins to Raiders
For us to be the Raiders though, we'd have to view the last ten years as some sort of deferred excellence, and use the draft to find the quarterback who reminds us most of Sonny Jurgensen. Then take him in a spot where he gets about 80% more guaranteed money than his true worth. Also, we would have to pass up any potential opportunity to improve in which it's universally agreed that the decision is easy. Conventional wisdom is only correct when it agrees that Jevon Snead and Sonny Jurgensen are basically the same player. Otherwise, it's just a bias the NFL projects through the draft analysts against us.
There are similarities between this situation and Oakland, but the differences are still more stark.

Re: Gannon compares Redskins to Raiders
I hate to agree with Gannon on this topic, but hey it's the truth what are we maybe a couple of notches better than them. It's a damn shame too that Dan & Al have to be so hands-on with the team and things have to be my way NOT the right way. Both franchises placed the wrong choice at head coach to run a team with other coaching personnel picked first. The talented the GM or owner is picking on both teams seem to be awful. Both organizations are not picking talent for the right reason you don't pick Heyward-Bey because he is fast and just because someone was good elsewhere before they came to Washington doesn't mean that they will be good here. It's the system they were in and the system you run, and the personnel all that plays a huge factor basically both teams do not have an identity to make moves pan out.
