Re: Reputation of Sherman Lewis- our new play caller
I worked for Disney on the hotel/time share side in Hilton Head, probably one of the top 3 worst companies I ever worked for. At times actually didn't get paid or my check was late. They maybe diffrent on the entertaniment side of the biz since that is their bread and butter but they are clueless when it comes to hotels/time share.

For ESPN though, this is the fourth major media company I have worked for and it is without question the best, and I'm not just saying that because they're my current employer

That is good and that was always my theory when I worked there, the entertainment side carried the hotel side, theme parks stand on their own. We had profit goals at Hilton Head but the stress of making them was no where near the stress at Marriott. This was the property: disneyvacationclub.com - Detecting Browser Properties . . . Really nice place it is done very well, I beleive you can get a nice employee discount there as well SS.

Re: Reputation of Sherman Lewis- our new play caller
Maybe we can put the cheerleaders on the line. That way the game will be more interesting to watch and we might get some encroachment penalties. They couldn't be any worse than what we've been seeing lately. On the other hand, there might be some delay-of-game penalties.

Re: Reputation of Sherman Lewis- our new play caller
Bringing in Lewis might have been a good move if it was done during the offseason.
I just don't see how he can make much of an impact in such a short amount of time. Of course I'd love to be proven wrong. |

Re: Reputation of Sherman Lewis- our new play caller
I hope that he can react to the Defenses, and also make them react to him. Some of Zorn's greatest moments as playcaller were when he was able to surprise the defense. He did that alot in his first 8 games. But he got more and more rigid trying to prove the basics. I hope Lewis has enough experience, and particularly with our WR's, get them more involved in the game. I also hope that if Zorn is not focusing on the offense as much, it may help him see the whole game. And finally, it has to take a HUGE pressure point off Zorn. He was obviously stressing to get any points at all, and I hope Lewis will be more in tune with the flow of the game and have less angst, at least for now, if we don't score the first trip into the redzone.
