Dude this will sound weird but go to Ocean City in Dec. It is a lot of fun and cheap. Plenty of bars open and stuff. Stay at the Hilton in OC as well really nice place with indoor pool and it is cheap in Dec. I have gone a couple times for a getaway weekend and have had a blast every time.

We went to Virginia Beach in late September once and it was great. Still warm enough to burn in the sun too, but the rates were dirt cheap and it wasn't crowded.

I live about a half hour from the Poconos. It's mostly skiing in the winter I think. They have stuff like tubing or white water rafting on the Deleware but they might just be summer activities.
