Seriously though, I think you bring a good point. Landry has been showing his lack of discipline for the longest time, and his tackling has become more and more of an issue. While I'm upset at what he has done, responsibility also has to fall on the defensive coaches. Hell, for all of the poor tackling going (Landry, Hall, etc., etc.) with the team. Not that the players are off the hook, but coaching should assume responsibility as well.
I think that has been one of the biggest failures of this coaching staff, is developing the players. I do not see improvement, even if it is gradual, I do not see improvement in the play of the individual players. I think it is most evident in the big three receivers (Thomas, Davis and Kelly). Players jumping offsides, silly penalties and piss poor discipline play. Even if we lacked in the talent department due injuries and poor player personnel moves, at least play smart. We can not even do that. That is a major failure of this team. A BIG F!
