Re: RIP Abe Pollin
R.I.P. Abe Pollin. Obviously I'm too young to know a lot about the contributions he's made and what a great man he was, but I know enough about him to know he will be missed dearly. I know these last few years he was committed to bringing another championship to D.C. and that's all anyone could ask. R.I.P.

RIP Abe. Now I am excited to see what Ted Leonsis can do with the franchise.

Re: RIP Abe Pollin
It hit me last night when I saw on comcast that Snyder made a statement about Abe; this is yet another sign to DS that changes MUST be made. The way Abe is remembered, could Snyder ever be remembered like that? If Snyder has just the slightest bit of introspection, he's got to think about how Abe's life & death in terms of his own.

Re: RIP Abe Pollin
I know I talk often of the time I spent covering the Redskins and being inside their locker room many years ago, but I also spent that time covering the Wizards (among other teams) and while I thought Abe had several flaws as an owner, what he meant to and did for the city and community and who he was as a person is unequaled. RIP indeed

Re: RIP Abe Pollin
RIP, Abe. I'm glad Leonsis has first right of refusal to become majority owner.

Re: RIP Abe Pollin
Wow, I was wondering who would take over the team after Abe's death. Ted might not be bad after all. Will he pull what he did with the Caps and get rid of all the big contracts and dead wood and rebuild? I think the new coach will do fine with team players instead of prima dona's.
