There are a ton of great restaurants and bars within a 4 block walk of the Verizon Center. Fado's, Irish Channel (My personal fave place to grab a pint of Guinness), Clyde's, Rocket Bar, Hooters, plus the numerous Asian restaurants in Chinatown.

Well hell, it should be RDF because the drinks should come before the food. (I'm an idiot)

Rocket Bar is great before a game if you have some time to kill playing pool or shuffle board. The only problem is the stink of that place might follow you for the rest of the night.
