Mike Williams tearing a muscle in his foot isn't a conditioning issue. These kind of things don't fall on the trainers. Did you know the Saints have more players on IR than the Redskins? They're in the Super Bowl. I doubt they fire their staff.

I'm not sure what metrics are used to judge a strength and conditioning staff. I mean, a big part of it has to do with the players' willingness to train hard. I don't think season ending injuries are the fault of s/c coaches. I do know that the past two seasons we didn't have nearly as many of the strains/pulls we dealt with during Gibbs' 2.0.

I know a couple of guys who were on this staff the past few years, so obviously I'm biased here.
