As for Redskins (or Shanahan?) going after Owens; I really hope that won't be the scenario, only because we have three young WRs that have some potentials.. Signing Owens would only stunt our youngsters' growth.. Beside we would be adding another diva show into the team, right when Portis, alone is more than enough.. Some people are saying that we should sign Kevin Walter or Antonio Bryant, I really believe that we should give our young receivers a chance before we decide to go after FA receivers.. And not to mention we have Cooley and Davis, that we are supposedly planning to utilize together.. By adding more weapons would only complicate things for Shanahan(s)..

But once again, Shanahan is an offense genius; maybe he won't be overwhelmed and have any problem utilize all players..
I totally agree in regards to seeing our young WR's hopefully getting playing time. I'm on the fence with any other WR being brought in, but I could see us finding a better replacement for ARE and that replacement might be Kevin Walter who played a similar roll in Houston. Plus he's worked with Kyle Shanahan and his Assistant. I could see us going in a different direction from Moss. I know that sounds taboo but I could see them swapping Moss out with Bryant or T.O. I don't necessarily want T.O. it's just that these are the few WR's that are FA with out any ties. We would not have to give up any draft picks or trade out any players to get one. I like Moss but I just don't see him as a #1 WR. Will any of the young ones step up to fill that roll as #1?

It's just a feeling but I think the team steps up and finds a bona fide #1 WR so there's no question about who is going to step up, then hope that the new coaching staff can get any of the three young WR's to step up into that roll. Which if that's the case then getting a WR possibly with a one yr deal would be best and if by next yr none step up then you know you either have to give the WR brought in a new contract for the future or draft a #1 WR. I think the other FA's would want more then a 1 yr deal other then T.O. Then there's the reports that Shanny tried to get T.O. and fell short. Do you think he will let it happen again? Especially if T.O. is a FA with no strings attached other then to sign him. I kinda hope I'm wrong, but I could also see him here taking two DB's which would get Moss, Thomas, Kelly or Mitchell open more often.

Again I'd rather see Walter replacing ARE and Bryant replacing Moss with Thomas, Kelly, and Mitchell rounding out the WR corpse. What I'm affraid will happen is we pick up T.O., let ARE go and have Moss, Thomas, Kelly and Mitchell. I don't see us going after Marshall because we would have to give up a high draft pick and Denver is not stupid enough to simply cut him. They will want to get something out of him.
